We can help you find the perfect ring
Unique, beautiful, and special; these are just a few of the words people use to describe the diamond they’re looking for. In diamond terms, this is accomplished by the 4 C’s. All 4 C’s are factored into determining the final value of a diamond.
The 4 C’s when choosing an engagement ring:
- Color: Diamond color is based on the hue of the diamond, rated D (colorless) to Z (yellow tint). The absence of color is what determines its rating and value.
- Cut: The most complex of the 4C’s is a diamond’s cut. It is determined by how well light interacts with the facets of a diamond.
- Clarity: Diamond clarity is the absence of inclusions (internal characteristics) and blemishes (external characteristics) that result from their natural creation in the earth.
- Carat: A diamond carat is a measurement of how much a diamond weighs.
